Why do people jump to conclusions and say that my car isnt built for the track? Once the car is done, thats what I expect to do. Takes time to get there. Also, Im in the process of buying an 87 325e thats not modded, which will stay that way. For the people who will ask, what do you mean "process" I mean that I have talked to the guy, test drove the car, I like it. So just waiting for him to get off work tomorrow so I can hopefully pick it up. It'll stay stock if I get it.
Progress on the motor in the blue car is that I have driven the car. Its parked for a little bit until I can get an exhaust. But the car runs and drives, just as I expected. Drove it the length I needed to to make sure everything was sound, and to see what I need.

This is that whole enthusiast, OG thing I was talking about. Yeah it is a $1500 car to some. To others, it is not about the price. Like James spending enough money on his e30 to buy a brand new BMW. Or supporting vendors who make a living developing and selling parts for these cars. It is the same as if someone put spinners, a huge system and neon under glow on an e30 M3. It is diluting the image. Next thing you know, the real enthusiast goes and hosts a meet and is hassled by the cops because one jack off too many turned their car of similar make and model into a rice mobile then rev'd up and down the parking lot giving every other e30 owner out there a bad rep. But your right. It's just $1500. Who gives a shit.
As long as you are on an enthusiast site and post cars with chalk board hoods, ebay wheels, and un-finished body kits you are going to get criticism. On the same token, as long as you are on a public forum you are going to get posts with tasteless cars. That's just life so let's all move on.

Agan. HE posted it. If I want to call him out for going about things in a comletly wrong way, then it is my perrogative. if he gets fresh and decides to talk shit, then I will come back and explain exactly HOW he fucked it up.
i (for the record) like your car E-rich. But I wouldn't drive it to work. it looks and is a track car. That's all it is. This kid doesn't utilize this car as a track rat. It looks like one, (just like yours and erik's) but isn't. So why wouldn't I be upset with someone who bought an e30, washed it, cut the springs, and wrecked it? This isn't a fucking honda forum man. it's a forum for e30s. they didn't sell anywhere near as many as they did a 96 civic. So stop treating this guy like he is in a Honda or Mini truck forum. It isn't ok that he ruined this car.... much like it isn't ok when a kid goes out on the street trying to be you and drifts his car into a wall thereby r3vving it.
