I’ve actually owned this car for five years, I bought it at auction, rebuilt the head, and then only sporadically drove it. It has the WORST repaint I’ve ever seen and it’s not even the right color. Blasphemy. Decided to thin out the collection of cars I had and focus more on a select few including this one.The VIN info for this car shows that it has the “sport package” and it has the spoiler, side skirts, and front lip. 6 button OBC. My understanding is that in 1991 there weren’t any 325is labeled cars, the 325i with the sport package was essentially it.
Only minor rust in battery tray and at front jack points.
- plan is to fix rust, remove all trim and glass, have car resprayed in the proper Calypso color (if anyone has leads on a quality but reasonable priced place in Columbus let me know)
- I have new foam for sport seats and will order a new upholstery kit
- have a set of Euroweaves on the way
- ordered all new OEM exterior trim
- can’t seem to find replacement door seals that aren’t super expensive, any advice?
