Looks great! Nice work on repainting the pedals too since they always seem to get scuffed above the pads.

The car had small case 4.44 diff so i bought 188mm 3.46 LSD and installed it with fresh Motul oil

The new vs old small diff

Now its manual and has LSD diff,, it just needs more powerful engine now!!

      Bought that bracket from Garagistic

      Thats to large

Found that one at Costco,,, much better!

      Installed

Modified the exhaust tips just for the look

      Ready for that summer :)

Time for the M50 engine swap!

I started on the wiring,, e30 C101 plug/pigtail on the engine loom side

Had to remove loats of wires cause that wiring loom is from an slushmatic e34

            E30 C101 plug ready

            I used a brakebooster from Porsche 944

944 booster VS orginal e30 booster

            Installed the brakebooster

            Changed the oilpan, pickup etc..

            Bought redlabel DME

there is some stupid aftermarket chip in it,,, maybe its for higher revs or something.. meh lets give it a try

That motor is old and driven 270.000km so i bougt alot of new stuff

6cyl chip installed, Oil temp meter connected and speed signal to DME for vanos

My Mtech1 steering wheel was looking bad so i took to a guy who fixed it with new leater! :D

Your 316i is very much like mine , almost nothing from a 316 is left in there hahaha.

V nice engine mounts , it seems you got better clearance from the front of the engine to the radiator tbh !

Car needs to go a bit lower , but i guess streets are very bad haha

btw , got the same equal length headers on my m52 .. only bad part is clearance with the engine mount for the front downpipe , but nothing that a custom exhaust can't do .

                keep the good updates!

but yes these custom engine mounts give more clearance between engine and radiator,, thats why i can run fan shroud and orginal fan clutch

i'll definitely lower it a bit more when i buy adjustable suspension, but still the roads are not that great here :/

Same exhaust setup on my M52 car, just with stock OBD2 headers.
I found it a little loud for me, but damn it sounds good.

I have two short ones, audio isn't great on either but they get the point across.
