***This car has a wonderful story where we had someone build their car, sell it and reacquire it after a search. Luckily it didnt seem to get too far from what was originally built and where he had to travel to get it back. And its a lovely S52 swapped sedan. Congrats to Link, you're the November 2020 Car of the Month! ***

Story behind the car: In 2014 I drove a 325i Coupe. I had it on Craigslist. A man offered to trade me a 318i sedan with a blown-up motor and a totaled (running) M3 for my car. I took the trade. I spend two months swapping the car during summer break between sophomore and junior year of college. Once complete I drove the car as a daily driver for one year. Then I sold the car. For four years it lived with one man and his family. He did not modify the car in any way. In 2018 I began searching for the car. I found the owner who I had sold the car to a few years prior. I negotiated with him for a few months before he agreed to part with the car. In June 2019 I bought the car back. I did quite a bit of maintenance and suspension/steering upgrades and added a few European OEM upgrades. After the car became ready to drive I sprung a water leak. The car sat parked for the past winter. Now the car is on the road and running great. It is not my daily driver, though at this point it could be. I am happy to have the car and appreciate the OEM+ style of the car.
