    thanks dudes, here's another pic:

also, can anyone guess what the center caps are made out of? I think only one person got it right on the first guess so far.

oh, and it's a little lower in it's current state which is the same as in the car dealership pics than in the pic of it on the street. Considering bringing it down a little more, going to at least do it temporarily when I get around to it, that's the beauty of cheap coil-overs, I can always change my mind.

I've been kind of distracted from the car this summer, rebuilding the front of the frame and suspension on my truck, lots involved with that.

I've been following this thread for months. This car makes me want an e21 soooo badd. My neighbor down the street has a red one and I cringe every time I drive by, its so nice. Good job Dave, keep it up!

thanks, yea, in the first pics i took after I got it back on the road, the front was a bit lower than in the newer pics my friend took, and the back was higher... it wasn't sitting too nice. now, as you can perhaps see in the newer pics, it's pretty close. with a full tank of gas and my tools in the back, it's barely higher in the back, just how I want it, cause I don't want reverse rake when I put extra stuff in it, and the amount of positive rake is pretty minimal. perhaps I'll get a good side shot on here soon to demonstrate it's current stance a bit better. I can easily get the whole car lower than it is, I can actually manage to make the sub frame be pretty firm on the ground with nothing more than adjustment of the coilovers, but it's at a height I really like right now.

here's the last two pics from that photo shoot:

I really like your e21. Can the back go lower? It looks a little un-even.

Wish our 320 was sitting that low.
