I'm thinking I'll go with a red LED like the one that's installed for the turn signal notification. I'll just slap a CHECK ENGINE label under it from a P-label printer.

Yes, and my wheel refinisher guy has developed a clear powdercoat that only reduces the mirror gloss of the lips by 5% or so, in my estimation. This means no periodic polishing of the lips -- just wash 'em and go.

I'll update with more details when Operation Redeaux BBS commences.

    - I'll put them in the back of my truck and drive to the wheel refinisher.
    - I'll drop them off.
    - Two weeks will pass.
    - I'll drive to the wheel refinisher in my truck.
    - I'll pay for the wheel refinishing.
    - I'll load the RS003s into my truck.
    - I'll take them home.
    - I'll mount them on the car.

FredK, thanks for the info. Would you happen to have a wiring diagram? I'm hoping the ref will be okay with a little LED in the dash that's labeled as a check engine light.
Good idea on the LED. To keep the continuity with the green turn signal lamp, go to radio shack to pick up another. They offer them in green, yellow, and red. I you cant find them let me know, I think I have some. I'll send you a couple.

4th, 5th, and 6th choice down on this link:

Welcome to RadioShack's official website. Search and shop for electronics, gaming devices, powerbanks, audio products and business traveling gear.
