I'm gonna try it. I've got nothing to lose at this point.

shitty pics of the carnage. these used to be flat top pistons. All of them look like this.

Turns out I fucked up the timing 180 degrees when I put the head on, much to my chagrin. It took me a few weeks of troubleshooting to figure that one out.

So today when I popped the head off there is a nice little score on the top of each piston from the valves. Fuck.

    thank you.

    Some more pics:

These came in the other day from Blunt tech:

    my box of ellipsoid parts:

    my work area:

these may go on the car, I haven't decided yet:

new boot from blunt and a k&n filter I got for super cheap off amazon

b35 exhaust manifolds and downpipes. Have to get an o2 bung welded on there.

finally got the exhaust studs out, what a pain

too bad my jack doesn't fit under the car anymore

most of the front suspension stuff was replaced by the PO, part of the reason I bought the car. The treehouse cabs look kind of conspicuous though

    fog light blanks from blunt

    Interior is full of shit

I'm just putting a stock exhaust on the car for now, as I had one in decent condition

    Car is also extremely dirty.

I fucked up the cluster face trying to get the trim rings out (don't ask) so I hit it with some undercoating because I had some lying around. I think it looks okay. I have like 4 extra clusters anyway if I get bored with it.

These arrived on my doorstep right as I was going in to get ready to leave for Syracuse.

    Thanks again blunt.

Going to the Syracuse Brewfest this weekend today so nothing will get done this weekend. I'm trying to have this running by G-fest.
