Sina's BMW 318i: Project Re-Shell & Beyond! (Starting Page 46)
Honestly at first u go like "holy shit this sucks at low speeds" but in about a week my body adjusted to the harder steering and I didnt even notice really.
You should delete your power steering. Its a mod that i was afraid of at first but love the results.
How so? Does it make turning feel much harder?
I replaced the rack (rebuilt) and belt last summer myself, and haven't looked back.
I personally love the silky smooth turning, in a daily.
Nice one. But Krefeld license plates and a Dusseldorf license plate holder? You'd better get yourself a license plate holder from "Autohaus Becker", which was (and is) the BMW-dealer in Krefeld. Two of my Baur's came from Becker
I'd love those! hah. Wanna send me a pair? :D
My family is in NRW (Krefeld and Dusseldorf), and well as parts of Bayern and Murnau.
I'm going to spend a lot of time in Deutschland this summer!

Haha, I don't know them. They're just some FOBs at my school. This other girl has a Bronzit late model 325i 4dr, and this other dude has a green late model two door.
Did you strip the bolts or the actual bolt holes in the block???
If you stripped the holes then you are going to have to drill them out and re-tap them. If there is still part of the bolt in the hole then you need to drill into the bolt with a small bit (so that you don't damage the hole more) and use an easy-out to remove the bolt. It will probably be quite the task. And you will need to take your time and be patient. Don't get in a rush or get frustrated because that could cause a point of no return.
Yeah, with a little help of my uncle, who lent me jacks, and tools.
I'm just kickin myself for borrowing his torque wrench, but NOT using it for the oil pan.
It's starting to leak oil again a little bit.
How hard is it to fix stripped bolt holes?
