Your sure about that last time I checked it was like $400-500 for an EPA check?

I am sure someone would have a EPA approved tune for a 1UZ somewhere.

just keep plugging away with the factory ecu, as long as you have entire harness intact with the correct sensors you can make it work, dont give up, the stock setup worked, and you can make it work again.

Its in limbo at the moment.

Just cant get it to run properly on factory ECU and loom but I need that to make it legal,

    Options are,
    1. Aftermarket ECU it and just drive it
    2. Aftermarket ECU it and track pig it but I am 6 hours away from most tracks, uncool
    3. Aftermarket ECU it and pay for the EPA testing to be done, $5-7k hole in the pocket to do that
    4. Sell it, buy a Camry and act my age

Dont know. Not rushing into anything as I am selling the M50 E30 but will get stuck into it soon once i finish my little boat mini resto.

But despite all of that it still goes great at WOT, loves smoking tyres and sounds phenominal. Might even try to get a quick vid of the exhaust note on take off tomorrow when the AUE30OG rolls into town lol

Awesome build! I like the videos at the end. Your attention to details is what makes this project as nice as it is.
