    thanks. its going to take a while cause my uncle cant do much and I live a few hours away from my dads side of the family. but while im away its getting sand blasted and cleaned

    When I get back we get to paint, then reassemble! Should be kinda quick considering these are very simple buggies

    Dune Buggy Revival Thread

    This is how I am going to document this project.

    My uncle has been recently diagnosed with cancer for the third time, and we decided that it be best if we got his long time project dune buggy completed for him. So me and my grandpa went to work.

    What we had to start with, very rusted

    Front end and rear end off, power steering pump removed, tie rods removed, cage off, body off, everything is getting ready to be sand blasted / cleaned



    Body is going to my uncle's house to get sanded and other necessary fiber glass work, then frame, cage, other pieces getting sand blasted, me and grandpa have to clean other parts, replace brake lines, etc.

    Hopefully we can finish in a few months, as we may be on a limited time schedule
