thanks! the only dilemma is that they're only x7. i'm trying to find a realistic way to widen the barrels safely because they're 3-piece, but the barrels/lips were welded together for japanese safety standards. -
seeing as it's been a year since i updated this thread, i figure i should probably catch up a little bit. so much has happened this past year, it's amazing to believe it's been this long. i've done a lot of minor things since my last update, but major changes include:
GE coilovers 450f/600r
Castro MAF kit, airbox and tune
BMP lightweight (8lbs) flywheel and 6-puck clutch
Jay's custom DSSR with z4 shift lever
full cardinal interior minus carpet (i have it, just scared to cut!)
16" weds albino wheels
as she currently sits....

i have been neglecting my build thread...
since my last post i have done a few things.
55w 6k hids with installed euro smileys. cutoff is amazing.
new spark plug wires; was experiencing an arc on cyl 6
new shifter bushings, complete job. what a pain it the ass.
new center support bearing. mine wasn't shot, but the new one took out the slight wobble under acceleration on the fwy.
new battery, replaced mine but found out that the issue was a short. oh well. $$$
new icv boot - cleared up hesitation in the mid-range.
city lights spliced - accidentally bought color-changing bulbs for that true ricer look.
o2 wires successfully extended to new exhaust bung.
coming soon: new front seats. *hush*
i'll get pics up eventually.Leave a comment:

flubbed out and bought some ebay headers. when i found out they're a pain in the ass and hacked up my stock piping, i decided to go full exhaust. thanks to chris castro for hooking me up, i now have a header-back 2.5" custom exhaust. sounds beefy as hell and very little rasp.
