I will have to agree with you on this but its not my car, its for my cousin who want the euro. when he drove my other e30 m3 he just fell in love with the power.. I would personally wouldve bought a 2.5 liter kit from Turner, CF intake and alphan n tune the mother.. In reality it would be the right thing but you just cant go wrong with euro s50b32, its freakin awesome.. the swap hasnt been done yet, so lets see what we will do.. maybe once I sell the AW e30 m3 then I can give my cousins money back and build a 2.5 stroker out of this... thanks for the advice...Last edited by sonnyqm3; 08-26-2010, 04:51 AM. -
If you're already building a diamantschwarz e30m3 with a euro s50 (props for bringing it back from the dead) then why go exactly the same route with this car...maybe keep the s14 for originality and added value? Maybe build an S14 screamer with the $$$ alotted for the s50. Mix it up a bit!
I know it's been pondered a million times but I just don't see the value in swapping motors in the e30m3 when you can get exactly the same performance and great looks by cramming an s50 in a normal e30...but it's your car.Leave a comment:

Oh its cool man, i like to get advice from ppl instead of ppl just bashing for no reason.. I am not perfect but I like to learn from my mistakes and correct them.. Thats the only way I will get better.. thanksLeave a comment:

I'm not bashing you, just stating that not everyone will approve of your every move.
I personally love the fact that M3's are getting a second lease on life...and that they are not getting parted out.Leave a comment:

I am using Glasurit paint and Glasurits highest line of clear for my DS project and this Brillantrot project.. that set up alone for each car including epoxy primer and sealant is well over $2k... there is a huge difference btween a 2k paint job and a 8k paint job..Glasurit is by far the best paint/clear you can buy in the market.. I normally use PPG which is great paint but Glasurit is in its own league.. Its a German paint thats very expensive and bodyshops that use that will charge you at least 7k or more for a complete paint job..
No spolier was left on any of my cars while getting painted...But I will let the results do the talking..Last edited by sonnyqm3; 08-26-2010, 04:49 AM.Leave a comment:

Seriously, if you're taping off roundels, versus the few seconds it takes to pop them off the car, and did I read correctly that a different project M3 was sprayed with the spoiler STILL on the trunk? (or was that someone else?)
We all know, regardless of our car restoration background...that that shit won't jive with everyone.
That's the way it is.
If you post up every project you do on here, and other Bimmer sites, you should expect some flak if corners are cut.Leave a comment:

Don't get me wrong, I don't like people disrespecting islam, or people of middle eastern descent, but I don't get crazy about it. I just ignore whomever who makes such remarks. I got a lot of shit back in elementary school after 9/11, and know how some of you guys feel. But times have past, I don't look like a skinny little middle eastern kid anymore, and no one even knows I'm what I am, anymore. I'm not condoning any violent PMs, nor racist remarks. I'm neutral, y'all.Leave a comment:

I completely agree with you dude.. I am trying to share a car build with people and all of the sudden I get bashed for no reason.. I am not gonna lie but like when people do this out of either hate or envy.. I love it to be honest, it motivates more to do better and better with my rebuild, restorations and engine swaps.. It also shows other peoples true colors...Leave a comment:

LOL.
Violent PM's aren't right. Neither are racist remarks (I wasn't aware you made any). Sometimes people cannot interpret other people's humor.Leave a comment:
