'88 Henna M3 project

    As far as I know the clips simply keep the pads from making noise. Look closely at what part of the pad they interact with when installed... I think you'll find that they really don't do a whole lot. But, I am no engineer ;) I didn't have them on my car and everything worked as it should.

    If you want to run the 3mm spacers, I do recommend Turner's hub extenders.

        One more thought: The E38 Style 5 caps will not fit over the hub extenders.
