Almost done with my sub install and battery conversion.
Installing the Luke box in t a power top vert is hell.
I installed the box a few weeks ago but here are the pics from that. I didn’t use my dslr sorry just cell pics.
I started by drilling holes with the biggest drill bit I had and then used a Sawzall to finish the holes.


Cutting the tuck side is the worst part. There is no space, it hot, you can't breathe… etc.

Today I almost finished up the battery conversion. Still need to adjust a few things and then work on the motor cover.

Also stole my wife's steering wheel. It looked to sexy to just sit on the floor.

Also, that material is not lotus white, it looks like the champagne color they did in a few e36's

It's 100% exactly lotus white. the rest of the interior has just faded over the past 20 years. Wheels will be hyper-black

I think intake valve 4 is sticking. I want a silent idle perfect e30 and this head is pissing me off. i got it for $50 from pick-n-pull so no real loss other than the $100 HG.

back seats are being stitched now (Kevin Chin). i have a newer head (94k) coming, this one doesn't meet my standards and hyper black Arc8's will be the final touch.
