IT'S HERE!!!! A month wait and so worth it.

My Dinan cat-back gave out so time for an upgrade.

I had picked up the CF tips from RyanG about a year ago thinking they would fit on my IE exhaust. But they didn’t so I just saved them for when I could round up enough cash for the Stromung.
    Old vs New:

What the stock tips look like.

    CF tips

    Installed:

Need to do some tweaking to get them to come out straighter.

sorry to be like a year and a half late answering all your questions. when i was posting i was supper tired and didnt read many of the posts. also thx for all your complements.
Yes, it was only a refresh. but even though it was such a young engine, a full rebuild every 100k really brings a lot of life back into these m20s.

i now run spring-less because the petal box welded on tab failed. the only issue i have is at autoX where i cant get my foot off the clutch quite fast-enough.

i only use heads that are good enough on the wear so that the valves dont wiggle too much as they slide in and out.

i don't have to tools to measure so i use feel. this is very tricky and i have my dad by my side for second opinions. when he rebuilt his car, he pulled 7 heads at the junkyard before getting a good one.

tbh 2weeks of 12h days, for the PS swap, manual swap and full engine refresh and engine bay cleaning.

tbh rather than that id get another wing. the bottom piece is too steeply angled to look good by its self.

All this stuff has been done with 3 hours to spare before bimmerfest. shes now cost me over 18k =P

Pretty much the primer E30 seat guy. And no, they are not cheap at all. My dad bought his mtech2 very for less than these seat covers. The leather is 9.9/10, the stitching is about 9.9./10 and the fitment is about 9/10. The feeling of them while driving is a 10/10. Where as the fleabay kits rate about 5/10 IMO.

Last night todd and I pounded throught the seat back in about 4 hours. And he had taken care of the seat bottoms earlier.

Today Todd finished up mounting the hardware and we put the seats together.
    Here is the finished product.
