Yeah, I decided there are enough 'verts out there that haven't been hit, regardless of the damage, that I don't want to put the effort into one that has.

Especially since we're talking about 17" RS, coilovers and a 450-500hp turbo motor.

Why does the boot cover look warped? On the right rear it appears to be lifted slightly. Is your soft top stored correctly?

Maybe not? I'm going to have the body guy look at it once the car is running. The top is kinda stiff/crunchy, so I'm sure it's not folding up the way it's supposed to.

most likely it's because the power top doesn't work and the boot lid won't close, very common problem :(

I've been battling a pretty persistent cold the last few days, so I wasn't able to get as much accomplished yesterday as I wanted to.

Basically got the intake mani (and related stuff) out of the car along with radiator. Need to go get a slim 32mm wrench to get the fan off so I can continue.

So I rolled the car out of the garage before I started working on it yesterday, to give you guys a better idea of my official $500 project.....that is quickly spiraling into something much more than I originally planned.

If anyone has these missing pieces of trim for sale, I would greatly appreciate it....



And then for the best pickup by far. This was delievered to my house last night (in the garage, sorry for the crappy pic).



Yup, hardtop bitches. It needs a rear window, headliner and good cleaning..............but *drum roll*...........only paid $250 for it.

So I'm starting to get the feeling that the E30 gods are smiling on this particular build, as I continue to get smoking deals on stuff.
