snapped a few pics since i realized i havent posted pics since i had it cut/buffed/polished/waxed, pictures dont do it justice, paint looks great, couple small spots on the front fender and on one rear quarter where the primer is shinning through from being polished before, but over all i am happy with it.
i want to repaint the front and rear valances, but im not sure where to find some alpinwiess II paint....anyone?

i hate all that yellow shit under the car, really need to reundercoat the whole car, sigh...oh well, maybe one day. My boss just bought a 3m udnercoat spraying gun for a pretty penny so he can undercoat the unimog we are building, so i can properly undercoat/seamseal anything i want now =]

So does anyone know what i should do for paint? i need some alpinwiess II in either a spray can or just a can that i can throw in my hvlp, would i be better off just having it paint matched at a local store?

Bob's paint land in Vancouver. Colors are identical to OEM. Plus, it's white, won't be that hard to match :)

Well progress has slowed lately, working alot, moved into a new house, finally have a decent sized garage, and money hasnt allowed for much progress on the e30.

But here is what has happened lately.

started glassing in the side markers on the bumper trim

recieved the 13 button obc i bought from a member on here, everything looks great, havent installed yet.

installed my kenwood i had sitting on the shelf along with some hertz hi energy 3way 6x9s in the rear, will be installing a 4ch amp and building some kick pods for the front 6.5" components in the future, have everything just need the time.

recieved my euro ellips' headlights yesterday and installed them last night.
resoldered the euro plugs onto my harness and wrapped it all in heatshrink and pet braiding.

will clean up the wiring a little more when i do the m50 swap and the m20 is out of the bay.

yes i know i need to put the front end back together....as soon as the bumper trim is done.

ordered a morimoto hid kit, i wanted something with quality and i have heard good things about them and figured i could justify spending 100 bucks more than the shitty ebay setups.

            Thats about it for now.

looking really good. nice build thread too. the lights look better on your car than they did on my 318iS.

thanks mike, im really happy with them, euro plate looks good in the new garage =]

yea just saw ur message, i traded them unfortunatly, should have just sold them and bought a set of wheels, i kinda got shafted on this deal.
But i loved them, just too big for the e30, they really are a nice wheel, i didnt plan on running anything else, my wheels were the one thing i was perfectly content with on the volvo.

I should have the 24v in this winter, i will have to take a break on the major stuff with the e30 for a little while to do a drivtrain swap on a range rover for the winter rig then im free to shave the bay and drop the 24v in =]
ps, let me know the second you come accross an alpine 2 hood, ill buy it from you same day!

Yea man I was read to drive over to your house and buy them off you haha. I have wanted a set for a long time, first for my MKV and now for my A4 Avant.

I will let you know as soon as I get an Alpine hood :)

Thanks steven, ill keep an eye out for some alphards, my old work gets mbz's in often and sometime they get the wheels swapped out.

Is the pick up tube new? For the price of a new one I would rather not buy a used one.

heeey. jaywood, u just told me i should reeeeaaaallly look into MS for my turbo on another thread.haha
Im the guy who had the "getting miller MAF and WAR chip, now which throttle body?"

Well anywho, Rob I noticed u said the one ecu has a WAR chip in it. u seem to have MS experience and would rather lean in that direction. I understand that. u want a lot of power and know how to do fully standalone. I dont have so much experience and want to run pretty moderate boost on a 2.7i

ive been told WAR isnt good for boost and that standalone tuning is. but as also discussed in here. standalone always has that rough ass idle. my car is a daily driver so I dont really have time for that. What have u done with the war chip and how against the war chip for turbo applications are you? max 12-15psi probably

*plus, where did u find the box to make your 6x9 speaker fit?? i need one of those
m20 is plenty. im simply a drifter.
