What you're doing with the "rust converter" is you're basically covering it up. The corrosion underneath will continue, trust me..
And of course the paint wont stick.
Replacing the battery tray isn't as difficult as one might imagine (I managed to do that on my project shell so it can't be rocket science :P )
BTW I have one that looks a bit like your car. :)
I know a lot of people swear by similar products like rust bullet and such. I've had good results in the past with things like naval jelly and the duplicolor converter (basically a aerosol version of naval jelly). If it eats through or flakes i'll replace it.
Might get some MT1 love. Not sure. I hate the current lip. It does not fit the lines at all and the early i or eta lips don't fit the valence. The euro specific sport lips almost never pop up and when they do they cost major bucks.
They are on a friends car ATM. Should be coming off next week.Leave a comment:
