Beautiful work sir, might i suggest you make your own wood bike trays? Would really help complete the look. You can get just the fork mount piece for mounting in a truck bed, the rest would be pretty straight forward.

      yakima makes one too

Thought about it, for now I am going to rock the Yakima one.

I want a wind fairing, so that is the next thing on the list. But at the price of 71+ for a piece of plastic...I said hell no. So I am thinking of MAYBE using a Thule one and just repainting it.

Is there a wind blocker in the front? If so sell it to me! And most welcome for the inspiration.
no fairing :( but its from like the 80's and has 654132165 attatchments that are just about period correct... hahahhaa :D

but i need to trim the crossbars, there sticking out about a foot on each side of the car, looks so funny but it's actually growing on me, its starting to look good.

What a great looking rack Brandon! If I ever make a wood rack I would love to make it out of blood wood. :)

Added the urethane coating pics to post #2. Hope you guys enjoy the shine! They are so shiny in the sunlight, sorry for the inside pictures. I had to wait 6 hours in between coats. It was too dark outside to get pictures after they were safe to handle. And sorry for just uploading shiny pictures. I know you guys just want to see it installed...the meat in the middle does not matter.

Mind pointing me in the direction of that... my ebay searches have been fruitless.
