Did a little work on the wife's car's parts.
My TAB bushing puller came yesterday from AKG. Would give a 6/10 for design. They have you cut the large end off before pulling. If that had just made it a tad bigger you would only need to remove a small section and not the whole thing. Grrr. Anyways that got done today.

we both agreed Estoril is better in theory but worse looking in practice.

ya, i was impressed with the quality the first time. so i gave them the work this time. Maaco's are good if you do all the prep, use the best paint and don't rush. because they spray more cars that anyone else they always spray smoother.

Deanna looks over the color and the parts to see if they meet her standards.

Here is exactly how much orange peel is on the car. All paint jobs are slightly wavy; it's the depth of the waves that matter. This will come out smooth in one light polish.

    hey eric,

i noticed this piece of the bumper bracket is still on the car. the plastic bracket in front of it is obviously off but Is this metal piece removable? or is it welded to the panel?

the Color/Colour is avus blue metallic, e36 color. the mauritius blue metallic was too dark for our tastes.
Your all so lucky! The amount of extra work they cause not to mention how depressing it can get :p My old touring was Mauritius, looking for something nice and dark for the respray.
