So we got her running last night and it was time for a sandwich break.

We got the front suspension done today, on the ground and took her for a test drive. First gear, good power, second gear, good power, no wait, stumble, sputter, hesitate, no power, honking horns, wait did that old lady give me the finger? Limp back home. Check every vac line, sensor, fitting, ground. WTF? It ran so good last night. Wait. Does it have gas? Fudge. GAS!!!!!!!!!! A quick trip to the "Do drop Inn", 5 gallons of gas, a Mountain Dew, a double deuce of High Life and we were rolling!! Like the Electrician forgetting to plug it in. Here are the results.

She is a runner now! Front coilovers are done and will go on in the morning and tires will be fitted. Should be taking her on her maiden voyage sometime tomorrow mid afternoon!

Owned a few e24s in my time, they are a joy to drive. Love where you're taking this. I think you need to jump to a 17x9/11 ;) The e24 has some massive arches that can gobble up width and meaty tires.

Thats the plan, really want to run 18s or 19s. I picked these up cheap locally for an interim solution, remember what wheels the car came with?:eeek:
