Hey everyone, I've been a member here for a few months and I have owned my 88 325is for about 6 months! My name is Peter and I'm 19 from Tampa, Fl. I would like to introduce you guys to Marvin and log the big plans I have for him here...
I have a stock 325is with the only upgrade I know of being a front strut tower brace, a cracked foglight, fallen off IS lip, and a couple dings.
The only area of rust is right under the battery on the rear valence. The front rotors need to be replaced and the steering wheel shakes under braking, and it could use an alignment as it drifts to the right. Mileage is around 210-215,000 but I don't know as the odometer is stuck at 163k. Speedometer and mpg gauge don't work either, but at least the tach and gas gauge work...
The engine starts to overheat when idling for too long, but changing the headbolts and learning that the AC button turns on the aux fan has helped this big time. I have a fan/clutch on my bed waiting to be put in, though.
How Marvin looks now.
Various parts I've acquired to start the adding of awesomeness.
I actually have two Getrag 260s, two flywheels, and a clutch, along with Drive-shaft, pedals, shifter, master/slave cylinder.
Eventual plans to swap this in with the transmission... :D

Plans before putting the engine in is upgrading suspension, wheels/tires, and brakes so that I don't kill myself after having a faster car...
I've enjoyed looking around here to learn as much information as possible and hope you guys find me to eventually be a help to this database!
