Woah, nice score! They are great cars, but the front suspension is not nearly as robust as the E30s and is much more prone to shimmy, etc. but you probably already know that.

    I'll be parting out a Zinno/Tan '85 535i in a few weeks too...

Yep! Also has a BBS front valance down there. Needs a whole bunch of odds and ends but I'll be knocking everything out bit by bit.

Yeh, I got lucky. He needed to move the car out of his previous employers shop and just wanted the car to go to a good home.

Needless to say I will get this car back up and running to its original state.

Meet Elise. My freeeeeeee E28 well, almost...

I have finally picked up a legitimate daily driver and the best part is the purchase price of the car was FREE!

I did however buy a fresh dashboard from the P/O because its in really really sad shape. I'm going to be swapping that when I replace the windshield.

    Without further ado:

The paint is rough but beggars can't be choosers! Think I can peel this clearcoat completely and then give it some compound love?

It has some oil leaks, some coolant leaks... and it doesn't start! I have a spare known-to-be-working AFM that may or may not solve the issue.

The p/o gave up on the car because he had too much going on but the AFM was the last step in the diagnosis...

In a few weekends I'll change the plugs, drain the oil and try to fire her up!
