Ya I'm thinking Ill be at evergreen spring time next year, after tax return time for more goodies!

As for the S14, I let it go for a REALLY decent price, 3500….Im kicking myself now about it, but at least the guy who bought it was an enthusiast and not some scene boy that wants to look cool. I would rather help the community then profit.

Well As I said before, I was going to put up some more photos rom the s52 tear down. During the dis-assembly I was very pleased to see some thing within the motor I.E. Almost new head, really happy this thing is clean!

While the head was off, I figured I would clean up one of the pistons to compare and contrast a bit of how dirty it was.

The pistons were not so bad, besides the carbon overlay on the tops everything checkout just fine, the cross hatching on the bore was still very visible and there was no signs of wear I could see..

And one final picture of a days work coming to an end.

More to come. Lots of photoototototoss. One day this thing will be sideways!

God its been a good minute since I have updated anything.

Well, a bunch of shit has happened since my last update. I will try and be more pro-active on updates, Funds have just been scarce as I just got a DD. I have designated my E30 to be my Fun/Drift car and use my DD more often.

97' M3, Couldn't be more happy with it. 133k on the clock for $5,500 w/all services at BMW.

    .

Now that I have actually driven a car with an S52 in it, and felt the power it puts off (Really easy to clutch kick and get sideways). You know I had to do it!!

    June 29 2013

This is the power plant for the e30, super stoked about this, but first I had to tear it apart and inspect everything before throwing it in. (More piktars of that soon)

So it was official, The teardown must begin somewhere.

Started by pulling the old M20 out with the hoist I got from a crackhead for $40. First time doing this and yes those are the head bolts being used to pull this bad boy out.

Some more updates, and a few photos.

Propped up ready to get torn up.

Drain'n the fluids so i can pull the head off. Cool picture wish it wasnt blurry.

As I pulled the VC off, I was welcomed to this mess. Alot of rockers broke off...you don't need those right?

A close up of the carnage!

Before I took the head off I got this thing out.....

Popped the head off to get this mess.

Good crosshatching though! for a car with a million bagillion miles on it.

Didnt do much after tearing the head off and finding out coolant flooded the cylinders.
I just cleaned up and went to safeway with the wife, and snapped a few photos of the the goods I brought home.

Ya this is my first encounter with this. originally I was going to replace the head, and call it a day. Then I realized......since its apart already I might as well swap it and build it.

My wife just loved that idea

    Chapter 1. Break. Build. Destroy

    June 06 2013

After my brother broke my car, the car sat silently for about a week before we decided on this ingenious idea to get it into the garage.

Not the smartest Idea but at the time we had no other option besides the e90 grocery getter/towing machine haha

This is right after we got it into the garage next to my brothers piece of shit car, haha of course I am just joking. Oh and the multipurpose e90.

    another shot of this beauty

You can say we are a BMW Family.

My brother an I built this workbench before I started the tear down of the E30, It is a decent place to actually tear it apart at and work now.
    Work bench action shot!

    Ok back to cars stuffs....
Of course I couldnt wait to start taking every thing apart on the car to find the carnage.

Got my little motor head fixing things.

Got her trained to get me tools , Or just stabbing the ground endlessly haha.

Got some old pleather material for a makeshift parts storage so i don't jack up my trunk

And this is were i left off that day. angry orchard makes some awesome apple juice i must say haha.

started a topic Build.Break.Destroy - Because Drift Car.

    Build.Break.Destroy - Because Drift Car.

Well, I think its about time to post my progress on what I have been doing to my e30 (More like destroying).

Hopefully I can get some input on my build. This is my first complete build besides doing suspension and minor mods of the sort.

I will try to post a ton of photos and progress on the R3V.
I have a bunch of photos On my IG @crismacstudio and usually always post there when im in the garage doing manly man things.

    follow me if you like.

A bit of some background on my car history.

My First love, got this after my deployment to AFG. in '11.
I ended up trading for My e30 I have now in '13.

I Got an 95 w/s14 Kouki conversion for FREE, Yes FREE lol. on my move across the country from TENNESSEE - WASHINGTON STATE.

When I got here to the state of WA I sold the s14 in the first week,
(Had an RB20det. But wiring was ninja'd and poorly attempted so I got out with a good amount of Hundos and saved for my S52 swap.)

    Update to time now.

88' 325is with m20b27 and some cut up springs and Miro wheels.

123901283019283 miles on it, Tach was dead so who cares how many miles.
