Well, I sold the Subaru(the new owner just drove it away 15 minutes ago), and drove this home last night:

Yes, I know I need proper pics. She's Orientblau/black leather, heated seats, sport steering wheel, big sunroof, 150-ripping-HP, Manual trans, yada yada.
No rust on doors or filler area, and overall in good shape. The front control arms require attention, as does the exhaust. There's a slight shimmy in the chassis at about 50-70mph, and a little leak, just enough to buzz annoyingly, in the exhaust. The brakes are new but low and behold the garage that did it used substandard parts, so they don't feel so great. The driver's door panel has to come off as there's a rattle when I close the door, and someone didn't put the armrest back on right.
It rides on 15" steelies w/ new winter tires. I'm on the lookout for some weaves atm. The 16" wheels in the pics have tires that'll be good for one more season, but i'll still bo on the lookout for some 17" replacements.
My short term plans are to replace the front linkages & brakes, oh yeah and a short shifter(it's like piloting a Gondola) and drive it as-is until springtime. Meanwhile i'll be searching for another e34 525i MT(or possibly an E36 328i) to donate it's beefier running gear. The 520i has the Getrag 250, smaller DS & rear diff(the flange is smaller anyway, not about the diff itself). The extra HP will be welcomed, as the 2.0 beyond third gear is pretty useless.
I already have an new M20 clutch & FW to lighten, and obd2 manifolds to go with the B25. Fan delete, Chip/EWS delete to follow as well. Suspension will remain DD-friendly. I'm thinking KW 35/35mm with KYB's.
