Not really been working 50+ hours a week for $$$ to build this thing haha. I haven't gotten much done since last update beside encapsulate and undercoat the patches. My dad and I both took tomorrow off though and plan to work all day. We really got all the floor finished we can until I pull the m20. So tomorrow we will be cutting the quarter panel and tail panel out. I'll be sure to update with pics tomorrow night after a long days work.

My euro 320i complete restoration.(now with m30power)
Didn't really get much progress made on the car cause of all the spot welds. I need a spot weld bit but no one around here carries them so I'm left with a 3/8 drill bit and it takes forever. On the other hand I did replace the valve cover gasket , plugs and coils on my e36. I stopped at the tire place to have them mount my wheels. That was the most progress all day haha. Center caps aren't on cause I'm finishing them up. I think for a rattle can paint job they turned out good. My polish looks great though :)

So today I worked 10am-8pm so I couldnt work on the car except when I came home from lunch, But......... My dad who is helping me with this decided to work all day and made some progress note I did do some work just not a lot cause I only have an hour lunch and was beat by the time I got off. Heres what she looks like now.
Here a quick pic of the floor its rust encapsulated on top and then encapsulated and rubberized undercoated on the under side I cant decide if I should do 2 coats or one
Tomorrow I'm gonna get the new inner wheel well cut and fit then I'm gonna patch the trunk floor and all the metal behind the inner wheel well. Hopefully it goes well and I can at least get the quarter panel traced onto the new one.

Wow, that's a big hole on the side of the car now! Watching this with great interest, as I need to do the same repair. Mine's primarily due to accident damage (had 2 separate people hit me on the same rear quarter) :/
Keep up the great work! I'll be up in O-Town next weekend at Ross'. Swing by if you can!Originally posted by LJ851kingston is the play by play announcer for this thread.

What day will you be in town? I work most the day Saturday but got Sunday off. I'd love to stop by and meet you guys. Oddly enough I've never met Ross only talked over text and such.

That is a lot of metal missing. The OZ wheels look great. I always liked those wheels. Are you going to swap out the drums? On my euro 320i I'm swapping mine out for disk and up grade the fronts struts to 51mm.Projects Hartge,Alpina & AC Schnitzer Builds.http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=280601

Eventually I will swap them out for disc. The fronts are drilled and I think a little bit bigger disc then stock. Also I found this out ealier is that my car had all the rubber brake lines replaced with braided stainless steal. So I'll probably do a tune up on the drums see how it handles and go from there. I got lots of suspension parts to buy bring this thing back to spec. Blunt is about to empty my wallet and bank account lolol.

If I do that won't I need different struts? How come the smaller ones won't work?
