Okay, so I got really busy with customers so my car sat for a while. I decided that I'm setting Sunday aside from now until the beginning of racing season to work on my own car so I can hopefully have it ready in time. First event is April 11-12, so the clock is ticking. Here are a few photos of the progress.
Finished the tubing up front with some gussets.
All painted up.
Test fitting wheels/Tires/Brakes. I have some Motorsport Hardware goodies to hold it all together.
All apart for a head gasket, ARP studs, all new tensioners, etc.
Freshened the block up. It is clean and perfectly flat.
I think it was slipping....
A little mock up of some brake ducts.
Thanks for looking. I'll try to keep the photos coming as I put the engine back in, do the body work/aero, and add the Vortech blower over the next few weeks.sigpicLevel Motorsport: www.levelmotorsport.com

For goofing off and for hill climb launches, this little guy should come in handy....get it?
Plumbing was a tight fit, so a little pie cutting was in order.
Brake ducts are a necessity.
I made a mold.
Then a hood:
Pretty cool shot up on the lift:
And there she is:
I still have work to do, but I was lucky enough to get things together for this weekend at the track. It was a good opportunity to do some shake down on the car. I'll try to get some photos of the exhaust I built, upgrades to the aero, cage additions, etc as I develop the car further over the season.
I'd also like to send a sincere thanks to Mike and Kyle at TRM Tuning. If it wasn't for those guys putting in a long day and fighting through problems with me on Friday, the car wouldn't have seen the track for another month+. They managed to help me squeeze over 440hp and 400+ ft lbs out of it despite all of the issues. If you can give these guys your business you should, because they care enough to hang out until 10 PM on a Friday tuning a car so the owner can go racing.sigpicLevel Motorsport: www.levelmotorsport.com
