    Basically want to do this:

(Credit where credit is due: Dieselboost's official 524td project pics

For the master and slave, it's the same part # for every other BMW. I'd get a clapped out 528e 5sp donor so you have everything.

I have Euro bump adapter from when Levent first made them. Been sitting in a box in the house for three moves. Otherwise, It'll all be custom stuff....Mike Holtmeier?

Hate to tear up the fresh paint to fit Euros properly....but there's I'll need to go over some parts anyways. Might as well do it right.

    I did order this: 51 14 8 119 643.....now to make a late model badge say 524.....

Thats badass. you should talk to Mike here in Omaha about euro bumper conversion. I know that it takes some work to make the front fit properly. Than again you may already know that.

Badass. Do you know any details about the 5 speed conversion? I am getting ready to gather parts for mine pretty soon. I'm wondering if I can just use a master and slave cylinder out of any E28 or if needs to be specific. Also, I can't wait to see what kind of exhaust you come up with

    Is 535is with 524td drivetrain and 5sp.

    Thus 524is.

It's so badass. Need to fool around with the paint....looks wayyyyy better in the pics.

Mechanically it's new. Entire suspension rebuilt. Just needs some lows. Going to look like a run of the mill 535is. Exhaust I'm going to ditch the giant ass tube and do a nice dual 3" downturn. Euro-bumps to come too.

    All in time.

1988 535is, that has been converted to a 524td. Full electronics conversion for overhead panel and instrument cluster.

    5 speed
factory reman'd engine but have no specs
    *CRACK FREE DASH*
    25MM adjustable front sway
    19MM adjustable rear sway
    new dog bones
    poly axle carrier bushings
    new control arms
    new sway links
    new radiator
    Euro lights
also have newish showlined door and fender side mouldings

    So finally picked it up....

This thing is fantastic. Everyone should own one at some point. Sounds like a truck. It's great.

    Vids:

Dad was driving....he didn't really hammer on it like I wanted.
