    not done with the hartge

Got busy working on the ix today, so I did not get all the door cards on the hartge.
But here are a couple of pictures of the hartge. Back seat needs some cleaning up:)

Here is the 89ix, might be built as an hartge clone:)

And of course, can't just have 2 e30's:)

1988 325is, getting ready to be sold next week:)

    little update

Well, it has been awhile since I updated this thread. Been working on three other e30's :)
Found the herringbone interior for the h26...had to buy a car to get the interior. So I switched the houndstooth from the h26 to the 88is that I bought. So now after 2 years, the interior all matches:)
Will get some pictures up soon...or just think herringbone sport seats and rear seat with head rest and door panels that match:)

I have some herringbone sport seats so I am trying to get all the rest of the interior in herringbone to finish the hartge up...then it is on to some basic maint. items this summer.

Did you find old school Hartge interior? Hartge use it in the e21 H3 m20 180hp and E21 i35 m30 205hp.

Well finally got the oil pressure and temp working...
Running 2 bar at idle 30psi
    and 50cel at idle 122 F.
Car idles at 14.4 air/fuel mix and is pretty smooth.
Will take it out this week to test everything out. All the sensors went in and no leaks so far:)
Have to work on the brakes tomorrow....got a sensor light on, but I am pretty sure its just the sensor is not in correctly.

I just used the one I had on the car for testing. I will take a look at the picture you sent me and see if I can get something closer to the hartge one later.
    thanks,

    done for now:)

I will drop these pictures in to show the car is done. I will get some better pictures later, but for now I am going to drive the hartge and enjoy it while I wait for some sensors to show up for the oil temp gauge.

So here are some pictures of what I got done in the last two days.
The wiper is full sweep, and is adjusted perfectly by the seller!:)

Lots of taking apart before you can put anything back in:)

I like your Hartge deco stripes on you H26. I will be doing the same and same color on my H35 clone. On my future H27 I'm not going to use Hartge deco stripes.

Hey Raul: I had a special cap made for the cover so the diver side will clear the post. I am going to check into the rhd cover this week, but I have a feeling it will not clear.
The deco stripes really changed the look of the h26. Seems like it is more complete now, or finished:)
I have a few items to finish, like hooking up the oil pressure gauge and working out the radio situation; but for the most part I am done with parts.
Now if I found the correct rear valance, I might try to get it:)
Those footrests would really complete the interior.
Looking forward to seeing the h35 with the deco kit on it:)
