The car in these pics is a 87 jspec ("euro") model. Fitment was started prior to
receiving the new upper valance piece.

    #41331884353. Upper valance

    #63171370783 foglight bracket

Hartge 83-85 front airdam install DIY

This airdam will actually fit on any <<<1988 e30, it was however designed for and is period correct For 82-85 "euro" models.
That being said, if you are conveting the North American model, "euro" bumpers, brackets, 82-85 foglights&brackets will be needed. Your metal valance can be cut to fit or you can still buy part # 41331884353.
If you have an 85-87 "euro" model you will still need the foglight brackets only,
You could cut the valance but in this case I recommend selling it and buy #41331884353

    good idea

Might just do that on the valve cover. Just clean it up and put a coat of paint on it for now. Then send it off this winter. Have to get my car on the road and enjoy it now!!!:)

Before painting you will need to drill 4 holes in the valance & test-fit.
First you will need to remove your bumper (2 front bolts & 2 inner side screws)
    Unplug directionals
...next you will need to remove lower valance part of the 2 piece valance.

Will attempt to post DIY on THIS THREAD after supper😏

Now that is a great deal!!! I saw the speedometer for 1000 euros, but he has not sold it yet:)
The euro cluster with Hartge sticker looks good!

    good question

The cluster that came with the car was at 170,000 miles. I would have to fix the one that I just put in, but that is for later:).

Check the cluster with the red dials above....

    it has been awhile

Well, been out of town a lot this summer. Had fun over at 5erWest looking at all the nice cars and meeting a few people. Now that we are back, I have some time to get back to the hartge.
First on the list of things was the euro cluster. Could not really spend 1000 euros on a real hartge cluster, so for now the sticker and 220k speedometer will have to do. At least now the needles are white:)
    Some pictures:

    old cluster...nice red needles:)

old cars are pretty simple:) two cables for the cluster.

Done for today...on to valve adjustment tomorrow.
