That sounds really nice: I think I am going to go with hounds tooth, or herringbone for the interior. I have the seats, herringbone sports, just need to get the rest of the interior...and then sell my nice tan one:)

    interesting

I thought that badge was the real badge for the m-technic 2? I will find the link, and post it of the m-badges on the m-technic 1....of course, these people could be just putting a badge on there car:)
    thanks Barron,
I think I want to go herringbone for the interior:)

    m-tech

Nice to have two kits:). They are getting more expensive every day:)
About 99% of the time, you do not want to put an m-badge on a non-m car. I just thought that since the m-techs seem to come with them I would use the one I had. Also, I am thinking about putting in a euro interior, so the car will look euro on the inside.
Have fun with your project...I am getting to the end of mine:)

If you have any questions, let me know.
Regarding the badges: I have seen them on the euro m-tech 1 but just on the front. I have a feeling that if you got the real m-tech 1 it was an option. There was no m-engine as far as I know in an m-tech 1. But there were lots of upgrades for the interior, exterior, and suspension...maybe even some work on the engine. As I mentioned above, I just happen to have a badge, and saw the pictures, so thought it looked ok:)
    I know the m535i had a m-badge, but no m-engine...
The Mtech kit was already sourced by another member and is now not using it. He had 2 of them and used one. I am going to make a drive to pick it up in NJ at some point over the next few weeks.

Thanks for the explanation. I remember someone on the forum got called out for having an ///M badge on the front and the guy bought his car brand new from the factory like that. I knew some of them came with the badge.

So what is the story of some non ///M e30's having ///M badges? I know some came from the factory that way.

Thanks for the input and comments. I am going to work on the cluster today. A few lights out, and then drive this car!!!
Yeh, I know it is not a real m-car:). I had an m3 a few years ago...should have kept it:), but the images and other information gave me the idea it would be ok. Now if I had a euro interior that would be even better:)
