Just saw pics of the updated Guage Cluster: had Voltmeter, Oil Pressure and Temp added. Removed KMH on Speedo and up to 160MPH:

Finally a little more work today. Fished the AC Compressor trigger wire through the engine harness from the Vanos controller, into the injector housing, to the wiring box bolted to the engine and last to the firewall. Was a bitch, this is the way the Z4 did it and it's very clean.

I see. That does make things tricky. I don't think you'd want to mount the transmission directly to the brace though

No zip ties? Even for wiring? :)

If you're dead set on making something, a gusseted sheetmetal design would be a hell of a lot easier to build. If you have some dimensions I could whip something up and get you some drawings to take to a shop. Achilles makes an e36 brace that is pretty similar to what I'm talking about. Any shop with a break and a laser/waterjet/plasma would be able to make this easily.

Here is the Kassel trans mount:
    URL

I hate that it mounts 6" back and will torque the chassis rail mounts.

The ARC Asylum is for the shorter Getrag, and still need ears off of the trans to mount to. I have the E90 mounting ears installed as they are nice and skinny for the tunnel.

I'll try to get measurements, would love to have a solution ASAP. I do want the "overkill" of the trans mount bolting to the trans w/o using bushings.

Achilles Motorsports Transmission Cross Member - BMW E36 M3 Z3 M Coupe M Roadster is a replacement for the aluminum transmission brace with a high quality steel replacement. We have found the aluminum braces to fail under harsh track and race conditions.

Nothing yet. Not going to use anything off the shelf, and am going to sell the Kassel mount. I knew I would not be happy with it, was trying to just get this done, but am going to do have it done my way: a tube frame mount essentially. Just so far no one wants to weld it up.....

    Oooh,
Finally understand how to edit/delete DTCs!

https://Default DTC (OBD Error Code)...moval Strategy

Default E46 M3 MSS54 DME Error Code Comparison Table

Though, will need to use further software for DTCs that are not read via ODBII?
Also, some DTCs will need to be disabled, but complete modules should be edited out of the DME alltogether so the computer is not having to process the CAN modules that do not exist it seems.

Once my car is up and running, I will compile a list on the first page/posts that inform others what can be coded out for the E30 swap. Some variance will occur, IE PWM fan/ Gear Position Sensor/ Z3 Cruise Control module etc....

It's still cold outside, so build/wiring is on hold.

I have the orig MSS54 A2L, but the A2L does not have this function, and of course searching for a 1 bit value of 00-02 yields a TON of locations I have an MSS54 (nonHP) v 2801.

Though, I don't want to take away from your services as I know your value.
Send me your partial, Ill let you know where it is.
