What color should I paint my wheels?

I may have finally found a set of BBS RZ378s, and now the seller is asking what color I want them painted after refinishing. I've seen subtle differences in BBS weaves - wondering if anyone has information on the factory color options for wheels.

The standard matte silver is the obvious choice, but a few shades darker silver may look good on my red car - somewhere between the Polaris silver and Nogaro. Thoughts?

The usual finish looks fine on red cars imo

      Not that Nogaro looks bad.

^ because what is the point of a weave pattern if it's just going to be black...

I'd go with nogaro to be a bit different but a shade lighter will be a more universally liked setup

it's a Kenny Powers quote on wheels

Fair point. Maybe more suited to "simpler" wheel designs. It does make all the weaves silver, though.

It rarely looks good on any wheel, and on these it would obliterate the detail of the weave pattern and draw the eye to the rim.

My vote too, mostly because I am having my BBS RS's weaves painted Nogaro.

I am partial to Nogaro as well. Still OEM color, but different and not as common.

Is natural aluminum with a clear coat an option?

                            I'm leaning toward silver.

Tough choice though, Nogaro might look really good.

Here's RZ378s (in the usual color) on a red E30:
