If it's not one thing, it's another. Hope this swap is worth it. I've replaced basically every part you can that's not disassembling the head or rotating assembly. Now it's the eccentric shaft and sensor. Also, designed a mount for using a three chamber Tilton reservoir for brakes and clutch. Strictly because the factory reservoir is NLA.

The same cats we adopted when I started the body swap.

And my favorite spray oil to use on the blackstone (available on Amazon)

Love the airbox! hoping for some ram-air effect?

The bumper and airdam cover it, but it is out of the engine bay.

Mostly wrapped up. Need to swap cooling fans, get an alignment and take it for dyno tuning on the 4th.

Well, so far I've only driven it home in rush hour traffic. But even that was nice. The trans is so buttery. I'll be putting some miles on it soon.

I was worried for a minute that you were using it for assembly lube. :D

Just went back and read through the N52 swap section of your thread Adam - awesome fab work as always, and it must be great to have it back on the road now. The N52 / GS6 combination should be quite the transformation vs. the M20 / Getrag you had before.

It's so much better. Sounds amazing too. Reminds me of an L24 w/individual carbs. I will FOR SURE need an LSD too. 😆

Sounds great - I love the GS6 transmission in my e92. A LSD would be essential I think. When I did my M30 swap the open diff made the car a bit of a handful - it was fun but felt like a swapped car. Once I fitted the LSD it drove like it came that way from the factory. You have a lot more power than I do!

Since the party never stops, I'm piggybacking onto Hoveringuy's EPAS and getting power steering finally. I bought some parts, made a jig for the factory (early) column and started chopping things up.

Made a little fixture to hold the spring pre-load at the right length.

First bracket version. Second one is waiting to be cut

I'm liking the EPAS stuff around here recently, following Hoveringuy's stuff here and FB as well.

If we can really nail the implementation, the simplicity of one of these would be awesome.
