Got the engine bolted up but with the head on and the iron block l6 my shitty engine stand bent...

Ended up moving it onto a cart made by Adam.Nonnis which worked great to wheel the engine out to the car:

            Thanks guys!

Currently trying to get the motor mounts properly aligned. I'm searching for a manual transmission crossmember and a 328i clutch slave cylinder.

Got the driveshaft sorted with the e30 csb this weekend. Next steps are bolting on all the accessories and installing the harness.

Spent pretty much the entire last 2 days working on the car.. hoping to get it running real soon.

Grabbed a cleaner hood from my parts car, and I also got some ronal ls's to replace the euro weaves a while ago:

Also figured out my shift linkage, got a shorter throw with the 328 shifter. The joint was super worn and grooved, but I sanded it down pretty good, up to 2000 grit, and it rotates much smoother. Before:

                After:

I really didn't feel like loosening the trans and engine mounts to get the b*tch pin in, so instead I just bolted the arm to the transmission... I think it will work perfectly fine and I'm honestly not sure why they didn;t do this from the factory, maybe I'm missing something.

Whoever owned the car before me had a 1JZ in it, which actually got stolen and the motor ripped out of it, with a lot of stuff being ripped and destroyed in the process, so I installed some not mangled heater core pipes:

Looks great, thank you for helping me sort out the obd2 ccv system, I'm jealous of your fab skills.

Big thanks to Habla as well for helping me source the last bits for my m50 manifold conversion.

                          Thanks man.

Definitely wouldn't have gotten this far without all your help and parts ;)

                            Getting really close now

Got the front end together so the car is looking cleaner.

Sorted out the cooling system, and started trying to organize the wiring:

Also blacked out the interior with the help of Alpha Team

                            Before:

After (yes the seat is backwards):

Any particular reason you're running the OEM CCV rather than an aftermarket catch can?

Did you paint your interior or just swap parts from the S52 Calypso car?
