    Thanks guys booster is gone, Master cylinder mounted directly to the firewall Here are some pictures from that process.










    As for the tuning, I'm running megasquirt so no concerns about motronic correction. That pic of the fuel pressure is with the car off, if anything I may drop the pressure as I stepped up from 19lb to 24lb injectors. And I'm using the LC-1 wideband, it's been in the car for 2 years or so. The heater cell failed in it from overheating, They don't like extreme lean or rich conditions and I was running in on the extreme rich side. No matter what I do it keeps popping up the same error message, unplugged everything and reset it from scratch and same error. New sensor was $56 at advance auto so not too bad.

    couple of notes I've found on tuning that have helped me, you may already know this but I wish someone had told me these things...

    - When you crack the throttles, you will see a momentary lean condition... don't sweat it. It's all about where the tuning is in a static position on the map.

    - Make sure you do all of your tuning at the same temperature or within +/- 5 to 10 (max) degrees every time. Otherwise, you'll be chasing your tail as the motronic tries to correct. If you are building compensation tables, you have a hell of a task ahead of you.

    - I see 2 bar of pressure on the FPR... it's idle I know, but don't be afraid to up it to 4 bar at high rpm instead of the standard 3 bar. A lot of guys do this with their s14's depending on what they are seeing for AFR or if they are running out of injector on the stock FPR.

    There is an awesome book that you can get at Borders for like $25.00... it's called something like ,"Installing and Tuning Engine Management Systems". I highly recommend it for quick reference, general information, etc.

    Finally - are you sure you killed the WBO2? What system are you using???

    Drove the car around yesterday, throttle response is amazing, car is running pig rich so rich it killed my wideband o2 sensor so had to pick up a new one today. Still have a LOT of tuning to do. Looks like I'm going to have to go hybrid AlphaN as, as soon as the throttles is cracked open the kpa goes straight to atmospheric.

    Well the plenum will hold ~4.5 liters of air right now, the engine displacement is 2.7 liters so that is ~1.6 times the amount of air then the total engine displacement. So I should have no problems with any cylinder not being able to draw enough air. Especially when there will be ~6psi of pressure thanks to the blower later on down the road

    I didn't catch that this was going to be non-NA. But from what I understand about intake air flows in an airbox, I would seriously consider geting larger velocity stacks and having an airbox that can hold more air. I'd take peek at some of the 6 cylinder CF airboxes out there for some inpiration. great fab work none-the-less.

    No problem George. I may start working on it this afternoon, I have a spring loaded tensioner already(don't remember what it came off, as I got it at the junkyard over a year ago). It's going to be tricky to get it in as there isn't much space.

    I'm actually not building the m20 block, just using that worn out engine to test fit everything on. I already have a 2.7 stroker in my car, that all these goodies will get bolted onto. Now the real m20 build will come later on when I rebuild a block with those 11:1 pistons I've got.

    this is pretty cool, i have seen some neat n/a m20 builds, but this takes the cake, the 2nd coolest was a m20 my auto tech teacher built with triple weber 48s, and high rpm bottom end, i think it made like 220 at 7330 or some sht like that

    The headers are a secret :D I believe they are made by the same company that made the budget beater headers, but the x-pipe design on them is different then the second gen ones he did threw the group buy. All the flanges line right up and sit flush, and they were about $100 cheaper then his group buy prices.:pimp:

    As for stealing ITB's off another car, there are very few cars out there that have ITB's. I tried 6 years ago to use a set of an m5, the closest thing would be off a euro s50, but a custom adapter bracket etc..... would have to be made.
