nice work on the fabrication .... is there any reason/benefit to using a plenum vs using trumpets? if u will run MS, i'm thinking tuning of either will be possible.. why go thru the hassle ..Leave a comment:

Ely when the hood opens and those ITBs are spotted there will be so much drooling the paint on the plenum won't even be noticed..Leave a comment:

Paint didn't turn out as nice as I hoped on the plenum, first time I'd ever used wrinkle finish paint.
Hopefully in a couple weeks I'll find time to get this mounted on the car:DLeave a comment:

Nice work, Ely. I like to see the DIY ITB set ups, especially since I plan on doing one myself eventually, whether completely DIY like this that requires lots of fab work, or buying real automotive throttlebodies from a manufacturer and still building my own system.
I noticed there was a manufacturer posted a little while ago, but has anybody looked at www.jenvey.co.uk ? Those things look AMAZING. Check out the trumpets too, available in CF. Oooh :D Of course just the throttle bodies would cost more than what could be otherwise put into a complete set up scratch built like this.
Looks good though, keep us updated as usual.Leave a comment:

Nice work man, JB weld comes in handy alot lols.
you might have better success if you rounded the runners into the plenum to be flush with the plenum, better transition.Leave a comment:
