S4 GOES BOOOM @ 155mph!

That is the problem with the B5 S4 (I am a former owner), you are so detached from the road and the environment due to all the Audi BS that you have no sense of what is going on around you. I can not even tell you the number of times that I was driving through the middle of Nevada and looked down at the speedo only to be shocked that I was going that fast. The car is just plain numb. 100mph in an E30 feels more fun than 176 in the S4. Also the S4 is a fat pig that wallows about in any performance driving situation.

yeah, because newer BMW's dont feel like that AT ALL.


B5 s4's now are cheap enough where i have at least 3 or 4 of em that come in for service by the stupid hair and bad teenage moustache crowd. One came in on the hook last week because he let his friend "borrow" it for a test drive, only to throw it into the woods at 80+ MPH.

Its the mustang GT of the new generation.
