I'm a hit or miss type player in MW:2. Some games I'll just get shit spawn points and can't seem to get my "groove on". Other games I'll just destroy everyone. I think the last game I played (Capture the Flag) I called in 6 Harrier Strikes, 1 Pavelow, 1 AC130, 6 Care Packages, 2 UAV's, 2 Sentry Guns and 6 Predator Missles. Fun stuff when you're just owning everyone ;)
The next game I'll go 3-30...
Somehow I doubt you have 7 different kill streak rewards....
I'm done with cod though. I finally realized killing people with 2-3 bullets from a no recoil assault rifle really isn't that fun. Not to mention the constant hacking and glitching. I bought Bad Company 2 a few days ago and I can say I really enjoy it. Snipings fun, you have to take into account gravity and how far away the target is.

I'm not against you on the PC stuff. Dedicated servers should be a go for PC. That is where the people who, like you, feel a "skill level" is acquired through a video game. This game is basically a hyped CS 10yrs later. I don't like the fast cycle games, so if they come out with a new one soon, i'm just going to stop playing.
I'm talking about what (other than dedicated servers) do you think would make this game better? You've stated that perks, equip, weapons, and streaks don't do it for you, but what would. I'm not trying to be difficult, I would just like to know your opinion. I can see the hitboxes as one point to change, but what else. The large hitboxes are noticeable and do make it easier.
I started on CS on PC. So i don't know where the new kids thing is.
You still didn't provide a specific or any sort of answer. A "good game" is in the eye of the beholder.
I won't argue that they made it for everyone to play, or that the hype and marketing didn't sell the games, but that is the point nowadays. People are out to make money and please the masses. It's no longer a small group of computer guys trying to make a game for elitists.
What answer are you looking for? Shall I go on to say how they've made the hitboxes 10 time larger so you newbs can get kills, or the shitty matchmaking system that they implemented on the PC version for which I stated the reason behind it?
The dedicated server option worked fantastic on the PC version of COD4. They are now going to be pumping out new "cod" games every year or maybe even twice a year. Once the new game comes out they cut off support for the old one so you have to go out and buy the new best thing.
It's not about being a PC elitest. It's about GOOD games that actually involve a drop of skill to get good at. It's not about that anymore, gaming has become a hollywood esque type genre that has become a smelly pile of shit.
If you can't agree with that then fine by all means you don't have to, it's my opinion, and I think it's a pretty damn correct one.
Really over at IW shit hit the fan when this good guy left the team. Grant Collier.
Reasons IW gave for not implementing the old PC options;
1.Lean-the game isn't balanced for lean....That was their answer.
2.Dedicated servers-People complained about the immense difficulty they had with trying to find a game.
3.Just some bs they said the pc version would include. Special features such as mouse control, graphics options, and in game text.
