    I would love to do a drivetrain swap, but the car handles like shit, (rear leafs ftl)

    and has a SUPER SUPER narrow wheel base. if you turn hard enough, it will flip.

    for now I think Slamming it and calling it a day would be kinda cool.

    its got a 1500 cc MGA motor with s solex single barrel carb. There are a lot of weber kits for the car though.

    Nice, Merc 400 -- those were actually over 40, closer to 45. They had some trick parts that people use to hotrod the older motors. Was it still painted white?

    thats a pretty neat car to have as a first one. slow as balls but girls like it.

    It still amazes me that people out west can have 50 year old cars as dailies.
