The peace he is talking about is one between families, friends, relationships. Christianity isn't easy, and he knew that relationships would be sundered by and destroyed by people converting to Christianity.

That's all well and good, but the jews god is your god, which is the same god as allah. So its rather moronic of you to hate the muslims so much when at the end of the day you all pray to the same god. And do you know why so many of these people go and blow themselves up? For the same reasons catholics fought in the crusiads. Because the people who have the money, the food, the water, the power, the guns, and so on are the ones twisting the message. And when you have no food, no water, no money, no power, and no way to fight, and also believe what the corrupt priests are telling you, then you do what they say in order to make life better for you family. You see it as such an act of hate, when to the person doing it its an act of love. Not the people planing, they are the hate filled ones, but the people actually committing the act are doing it for their families. Not that it makes it right or gives them any right to do it, but the idea is understood.

And also, it would be closed minded to call you close minded IF you were being open minded. Its great that you have a different view. But the definition of closed mindedness is that you stick to your opion even when others have proven it to be wrong many times.
