The McLaren is at the end of the day, a massively flawed car that has proven many times to be almost undriveable on the limit, it seems that it is often viewed through rose tinted glasses.

I would easily have one over a Veyron, but if we're talking about pure expressions of supercar nobility, it would be one of these every time:

              Beautiful car.

Still, the Dauer actually raced at Le Mans and was sold to the (very rich) public

                What the hell?

I thought there was only ever one XJ13 built? That's gotta be a replica

                  mmmm, I am salivating.

Agreed about the Dauer 962, I have a local friend with two Lowenbrau 962 race cars (962-HR1 and 962-103) and they are really some amazing looking cars, especially when you're in their presence.

There was, it was a concept car, hence the recreation part. Still a lovely breed though.

Much like Cobras and their replica counterparts, if you had a genuine one, you sure as hell wouldn't drive it; but you still respect the replica versions.

That thing is a proper recreation, too. More than just a "replica" it is one of 2 cars that I know of in Oz that are achingly close to being "perfectly correct" - down to wheel size, carburettor jetting, number of rivets in the body, engine internals and gearbox specs. The only thing that lets that one down is its red paint.

Lofty England actually drove the other car (which is BRG) and said it is exactly how he remembered the proper car (which he was test driver for Jaguar for)

Haha im one of the 13 people that picked a veyron.
When it comes to supercars I love over the top in your face stuff.
I love that bulky fender wells and the unique grille.
And nothing says over the top like 16 cylenders and 4 turbos.
Thats why I would chose the veyron in this, but if i could have my any supercar it would be the pagani zonda f
