This is a great movie. I mainly went for the graphics, and was blown away. I thought the story too would be retarded but it actually is great and not cheezy at all. The trailers give the story no justice. Dont think its gonna suck because you will be very wrong. If it was a movie about Hanna Montana i could see the doubt being cast, but this has all the right elements for a great movie for all time.

/\ Trailers all looked lame, but the movie was really fucking good, the 3d experience was pretty amazing. Almost a 3 hour movie but at no point was I bored with it.

I have no desire to see this movie. The whole "technologically advanced civilization tries to wipe out the warrior-clan civilization" story line is so fucking overdone.

The only reason they're making such a huge deal out of this movie is because it's his first movie since he grew his vagina and made Titanc.

I suggest seeing it in 3d at the Imax. You will change you mind, I guarantee it. It is supposed to be, by far, the most visually stunning movie ever made. It is also the most expensive movie ever made. James Cameron does not disappoint.

Meh, maybe. I have no doubt it's pretty, I could see that from the trailers. It's the cheesy heavy handed message that annoys me more. The least they could do is be a little more subtle.

I watched the extended trailers in HD and all and it wasn't "oh my God I must see this movie" from the start. My friends and I decided to skip over it. I heard from some scifi geeks I went to school with that it didn't live up to the hype everyone said it would be. And those kids I heard it from have Star Trek posters and costumes. I'm taking their word and downloading it.
