Spent 30 minutes looking for it. On second thought, I think I may have sold it.

Back when I was buying/selling cars, I bought one of those RRs (for a family friend) and it had 2 extra wheels (same as the one you have) in the back. I sold it the car and kept the extra wheels, but I think I might have sold them on Craigslist already.

Well you picked the wrong engine not much rattle to them, need a 12v 6bt or older 7.3 power choke to get that noise.

and I am gonna use that skeleton thing, know a guy whos welding rig rattles so bad you can hardly hear your self think 30 feet away at idle damn archaic 6bt's

Yeah as far as the tunnel you might get to work with a combo of body lift and cutting and remaking for the clearance you need. You build one I would be interested in helping and building one for myself
The weakest points would be the welds and there are virtually none on the older ones...the frame components are bolted together. The only thing I would be worried about is making a twizzler out of the driveshaft or turning the differential internals back to iron ore lol!

Enlarging the transmission tunnel isn't that big of a deal and with a vehicle that is body on frame no integrity is lost. I just wouldn't want it to have the interior space of a H1 Hummer lolol! If that's the case then it's definitely not worth the time.

BMW only had a hand in Land Rover/Range Rover for a year or so before they sold it to Ford.

I really want to put a Duramax diesel and Allison transmission in a HSE.

(Just picked up a white 98 HSE 4.6 a couple of days ago.) I've spoken to a couple of owners and nothing stood out and too drastic as far as maintenance and repairs go. Maybe they just have ones that have been well taken care of.

I have access to my cousin's Worldpac account and can choose between him for the more involved issues or a really cheap shop I know so I'm not worried. I already have a few things lined up for it, some gaskets, belt, and misc.

I've always thought this body style and the one before it was dope. It has 120K, body has absolutely no dings, only body issue is the bumper cover is busted at the left corner. Seems it has a P/S leak, leaks are no surprise though. Paid 2,750...

Not to mention, I can't stand owning a car the whole fkng world around me drives.

For that price I would have snapped it up too. Leaves lots of room for repairs to get to the break even point of just market value, thats a ton of free miles driven in my mind.

Not saying they are all bad, they just tend to be more needy over all then your run of the mill GMT800/900

I can buy a 04 Denali XL with 80k for 14k or a 04 Range Rover with 89k for 15k. I have found cheaper on both counts but with high miles or damage. I will keep looking driving and reading. Thanks for your input.
The only thing with the 02^ denali is that it has the H.O. 6.0l especialy in a Burb, is very very thirsty. Good power plant dont get me wrong very hard to kill and stupid simple to fix, but much like Big Block fuel economy.

Get a loaded out "LT" Yukon/Tahoe With the 5.3 , way better fuel economy at the loss of 30 or so HP.

I am a GM guy by default I drive a Duramx every day, and the whole family (mine and her's) is in a Yukon/Tahoe, 3/4 ton and up diesel, or Burb's. Other than my mom whos up grading to a GTO soon from a Grand AM. All have had little shit thats to be expected, and moms Grand am's tranny, other wise all are as reliable as the sun rise.

Edit: for the wife huh. I will suggest a LT Z71 tahoe from 03-06. Can be bought right with about 60k on them and there are plenty to choose from. She wants one in Burmuda blue with a tan int, so that what I am looking for.
