I'm with you there Kenyon. Ya know what really made me mad the other day? This girl was telling me not to wash my car (I'd gone over 3 weeks without it being washed..and lots of rain) because it was "only worth, what? $1000". I mean, it wasn't really the price that made me mad, but the fact that she thinks my car is "not that great". Sorry, It's a hell of a lot more fun to drive than our 96 Tahoe, which sucks, might I add.

Still, many people don't understand why I care about my car so much, if they don't yet, they never will. my current dream car (very reasonable) is a silver 88 325is.

I have a friend that drives a 94 Accord, and my 325 is actually a faster. He respects my car as well, so it's all good with me. ;)

It's not worth it to drive a honda to get those comments. Guess how many integras I saw today? Over 6, that's just in the hour or so I was driving. How many NICE E30's? Well, including mine, maybe 2? hehe I love my car, and always will. :D

I agree with everything you said. More than half of the kids my age in my town have a Honda. One of my friends has a '95 Honda Accord V-Tec, exhaust, rims, etc, etc. It's basically "riced" out. He put all that money into his car, and my stock 318 ate him up when I ran against him.
Seeing modded Honda's are a dime a dozen, but a modded E30....is much more rare (2 sightings in my town).
I didn't buy my car for other people's comments, or what the "trend" is (see F&F), I bought it because it was what I wanted.
