I wish that would happen to me. Every time I get pulled over the police do everything they can to screw me over.

What's far more annoying is getting pulled over BECAUSE the cop likes your car. I've been puled over twice in my lotus and once in my sti because the cop just wanted to talk to me about it.

Flattering, I guess, but annoying at the same time... I was obviously on my way SOMEWHERE...

When I was 15 or so, a friend and I replaced the clutch of an rx7 he bought for $600 + his gaming computer. He didn't know how to drive stick that well, so he let me take it for a spin first while he sat shotgun. The car had no rear seats iirc or they were removed, I don't remember, but we picked up two more friends who needed a ride. They BOTH went in the back belly down as we took them to their destination (it's around 9pm on a weekend btw). We drive 3 minutes in a residential area and pass a cop, I look in the rear view mirror and say shit shit shit, the cop makes a U turn and stops us..

The cop immediately laughs at us and says hold on. He calls in two more cop cars and they all come to literally laugh at us and such. I remember counting at least 5 cops.
He gives me a lecture and tells me why he stopped me + all the illegal stuff which were:

1. No front plate.
2. Improper rear licence plate placement. (Rear window.)
4. Car isn't registered.
5. I'm not allowed to drive with passengers. (I'm 15 w/ a new licence)
6. I'm not insured.
7. Car isn't insured.
8. "No seat belts" (2 friends in the back)
9. And endangering lives or something like that (Again, 2 friends in the back)

lol, I told him that we just put in a new clutch and just wanted to try the car out while taking our friends home.
He said he can either give me a ticket for more than what the car is worth and take away my license, or I can go straight home to mom and dad, lol..

I picked option 2.

I have never been pulled over since.

back when I was 19- in 93 I was riding around in the Chicago area in my primered- slammed S10 minitruck (was all that) back then- got pulled over and as the cops were comming to my window they had their pistols drawn-- until they saw my white arm come out of the window to give them my reg. crap. then the one said "ohh your white!!!-- well then what an interesting cool truck- my son likes these things alot- does it have hydraulics?- have a nice evening"

I got pulled over the day I bought my 5pointslow mustang. I had no plates or insurance and i got pulled over 11:00pm for going 43 in a 30. The cop asked my if i knew why he was pulling me over, i responded "No plates?" and he told me i was speeding. Then he asked why i didn't have plates on it and i explained that i just bought it. He took a step back, scanned it with his flashlight and asked how much i paid for it. I told him a grand. He thought that was awesome then gave me a warning.
