Movie looks awesome. I need to see the original, so I have no idea what's actually going on in the trailer, but it has awesome lights and scifi noises.

I fucking *HATED* watchman. Movie was by far the biggest pile of shit I've ever laid eyes on. But I don't like comic books either - so go figure.

Maybe you're just incapable of understanding the complex issues presented in Watchmen? It wasn't meant to entertain in the same way that Spider Man or Transformers, it was meant to make you think.

The new trailer for Tron is fucking awesome, but I will have to wait till I see the movie to decide. The problem with movie trailers is that they are often better than the movies themselves. They also set a certain tone which is often different than the movie. For example, I thought the trailer for Star Trek was the best I had ever seen. It gave the movie a dark, serious and epic tone. In the end though, the movie was a light-hearted comedy and the story wasn't very epic in relation to other sci-fi. I was disappointed. What I am trying to say is, don't judge a movie by it's trailer.

i didn't follow the comic book series, maybe thats why the fanfare eluded me on watchmen...

i didn't know disney made the first one, wow thats pretty cool actually.

Watchmen is probably one of the best movies I've ever seen, and easily in the top 3 comic book adaptations, but I was also a HUGE fan of the orignal books.

You're dealing with one seriously huge comic and sci-fi geek here. :D

And the original TRON was a Disney movie. If you watch the original closely, it's easy to see that it's a mix of very early CGI and classic hand-drawn animation. It's still an incredible visual achievement to this day.

I assume you're talking about Flynn (Jeff Bridges). It seems from some of the plot summaries I've read, that it's yes and no. Flynn has been essentially trapped in the ENCOM computer system for 25 years, and from what it looks like, it seems like his digital self has become corrupt.
