    Our weather contributes heavily to this (mainly hail). Homeowners insurance is equally expensive because of this. Also the cost of uninsured/underinsured coverage do to the large number of rednecks/white trash/illegals with no insurance.

    But $1800 a month? Fuck.

    My insurance isn't even half that.

    here is the bigger question Why in the FUCK would you willingly moving to MI. I was born and raised there and spent 27 years of my life there. I got the fuck out, best thing I ever did, and people are still leaving there like rats on a sinking ship.
