Winter beaters

I'm in the process of buying my beater. Guy started asking $1900 so I stopped by and checked it out, he's done a bunch of stuff to the engine and axles, but neglected the body. He told me he is in dire need of money to pay child support.

I drove by again this week and he lowered it to $1200

i was in this situation, ended up just getting a truck. at least around here, there are so many old fords for cheap you can have your pick.

Dad's friend is selling a 1996 Audi a4 2.8 v6 with 175k miles. Last I heard he was selling it for 1,300 and it was a 5 speed.
