The actual Daft Punk helmets are quite a bit more complex and advanced than the replica shown in the video above. They are now available for $65,000 a pair but you must have written permission from the band before you can order them. Daft Punk copyrighted the design and idea of the helmets back when they had them made and there is only one pair which they still own and use.

The company which made the originals for Daft Punk have the ability to produce them. I'm pretty sure Daft Punk has given permission to the company to reproduce them for consumer/collector sale.
